This is very unfortunate when this happens; however, NiceSpecialtyGifts4u.com cannot provide a financial guarantee nor reimbursement for services not received based on another company’s performance which are totally outside of our control. We trust you will understand.
Shipping Policies:
NiceSpecialtyGifts4u.com ships according to each carrier’s rules and regulations; therefore, we are bound by them. Once a package has been given to the shipping carrier, the liability for that package(s) no longer lies with NiceSpecialtyGifts4u.com, nor are we liable for lost or stolen merchandise.
NiceSpecialtyGifts4u.com has NO control over the carrier’s actual delivery time or their decision to leave a package in a considered "Safe Location" at your residence. If a delivery attempt has been made; but, is unsuccessful, the carrier will leave a notice with instructions that the recipient must follow to obtain the package.
NiceSpecialtyGifts4u.com WILL NOT refund or reship any package that has been marked as "Delivered" by the carrier, even if the recipient claims non-receipt. We highly suggest that the recipient contact the delivering carrier to verify where parcel was placed or see if it was delivered to a neighbor.
NiceSpecialtyGifts4u.com ships glassware and gift baskets to all 50 states and Canada using one of these shipping methods that you choose at checkout.
Canada: Ground Only
Selecting this option will deliver your gift within Canada and it will include all import, duty taxes, and any brokerage fees associated with delivery. No additional fees should be incurred by the recipient. Delivery service time varies depending on the delivering location. Please allow 7 - 10 business days for actual delivery.
Same Day Shipping:
Orders received before 11:00 AM CST on weekdays are generally shipped the same business day, unless otherwise specified. This is our standard procedure and not a guarantee. Orders received after that time or on weekends and holidays are shipped the next available business day.
Although we place a very high priority on getting your order shipped as soon as possible, we make no guarantees as large orders, seasonal delivery peaks, airline schedules, severe and inclement weather conditions or any other circumstance (beyond our control) may delay shipping.
Bulk Shipping:
Bulk shipping is determined by as the number of boxes required to safely ship your gifts. One box is allowed for regular shipping, so if your order requires multiple shipping boxes, you will be billed accordingly.
Shipping Chocolate to Warmer Climates (75 F or Above):
During the warmer months, the chocolate items in our gift baskets are replaced with other gourmet food of equal or greater value or our prices are adjusted accordingly.
When ordering an all "Chocolate Gift" or many of our "Candy Bouquets" remember that chocolate and candy will melt when exposed to temperatures of 75 F or higher. To minimize this, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND expedited shipping (2 days or less). Should you choose to ship other than these recommended methods, we CANNOT guarantee your gift. It is your responsibility to select the appropriate shipping option at checkout.
Cookie Bouquet Shipping:
We take every necessary precaution when shipping our Cookie Bouquets! First, each cookie is shrink-wrapped, then carefully arranged. Second, to protect each cookie from breakage, we bubble wrap each cookie, and bubble wrap the entire arrangement. Finally, after your bouquet is safely in the box, we fill the rest of the box with protective peanuts to ensure the safest delivery. Very seldom do we have a broken cookie. All Cookie Bouquets ship from our New York Bakery.
If we receive your cookie bouquet order before 11 AM CST, your cookie bouquet will be processed and shipped the same day. Any orders received after that time will be shipped the following business day. We need time to freshly bake, decorate and get your cookie bouquet ready for shipping, therefore the early morning cut off. Cookie gift baskets cannot be shipped to Canada.
IMPORTANT! Shipping costs for cookie gift baskets are based on a per item basis and not based on weight! Our website charges the shipping by weight; however, the cookie bouquets will be charged per gift. Each cookie basket is shipped individually; therefore, if you order multiple cookie baskets, each basket has its own shipping cost applied.
Hospital & Hotel Deliveries:
Deliveries to hospitals and hotels are NOT RECOMMENDED. Since deliveries normally go to a general receiving department, then get routed to the recipient’s room, we DO NOT guarantee these deliveries.
NO refunds will be issued if you decide to ship to these locations. Therefore, if you still place your order with a hospital or hotel delivery address, we assume you have taken this into account. May we suggest that instead of a hospital delivery, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you ship to a close family member, if possible, or to the patient’s home address.
Fruit Gift Basket Shipping:
Fruit gifts cannot be in transit longer than 3 days or over the weekend due to their perishable and fragile nature. Therefore, please check the transit time map below to ensure that YOUR destination can receive the gift basket via standard ground shipping within three (3) days. If this is not possible, then you MUST upgrade the shipping to 3 days or quicker. Orders that cannot be delivered via the shipping method selected prior to a weekend will be held and shipped the following Monday. Fruit gift baskets cannot be shipped to Canada.

All orders will be held until Monday for shipping, unless Monday is a holiday. In that case, shipping will occur on Tuesday.
Additional Redirect or Return Fees:
UPS Redirect Fee: If a wrong, insufficient or incorrect address was provided at time of ordering or if your package needs to be redirected for any reason, a redirect fee will be charged to you. You may contact UPS directly at 1-800-742-5877.
The Redirect Fees charged are as follows:
Ground Redirect: $10
Air Redirect: $15
Intercept Fee: $15
Return Package Fee: A redirect return fee of $10 plus the original shipping cost for return. Per UPS policy, all returned parcels will be returned and billed using the same service as originally shipped. Therefore, Next Day Air parcels will be returned Next Day Air.
If package is redirected multiple times, a redirect fee will be charged for each time it is redirected.
USPS Redirect Fees: If a wrong, incorrect or insufficient address was provided at the time of ordering, and your package cannot be delivered for any reason, the package will be returned to us as “Undeliverable”. Should this occur NO refunds will be issued.
All glassware and gift baskets are shipped within 1 - 2 days after receipt but may not be shipped to a P.O. Box or sent COD.
